THE ROOT CAUSE PROTOCOL
THE STARTS:
WHY DO WE INCLUDE GRASS FED BEEF LIVER?
We include consuming beef liver as a 'start' in the RCP.
This webinar will discuss why it is important and why we recommend everyone build this into their routine.
This is a topic that tends to get polarized responses - often people either LOVE liver, or can't stand the thought of it.
So WHY does the RCP include grass fed beef liver as an important 'start'?
While few of us are taught this from our parents and grandparents, when we look back through old cook books, our ancestors used to consume 'nose to tail' of animals, including liver. Organ meat in general was considered the choice cuts, and the muscle meat/steaks/etc used to be given to animals.
Back in the 1920's, the first line treatment for anemia was to consume liver, especially beef. Why did this work? We will discuss more about this during this free live event.
We will discuss why liver is so important to include in your routine by understanding the overall mineral and nutrient profile and how this relates to the RCP.
We will cover some of the common questions that are asked about the inclusion of beef liver, some details about why it helps anemia and other conditions, and how people get around hurdles they may face when it comes to implementing this 'start' item from the RCP.
We want to help you to take the first steps and understand why it's worth remembering to do it!
